DESCRIPTION

We selected the three subjects “The Flying.” Each panel will be 3 x 4 m for the wall between the escalators, for the reason which is the main problem when people are entering the subway and going underground: they are “losing” the view of the sky over their heads. Such a loss can be a deep and unrecognized trauma for our mind, and the deeper the subway, the bigger the loss of the sky is. Our three subjects will look underground, as wide panoramic view behind the three big—from the floor to the ceiling—windows, and together with the “flying people” they will create the continuous fresco conveying the atmosphere of lightness and freedom.

TECHNICAL COMMENTARY

The fresco will be done by transferring the drawings to the white ceramic plates. Each plate has to be no smaller than 30 cm each.
